DYNAMIC HOST CONFIGURATION PROTOCOL (DHCP)

El servidor DHCP es un protocolo de configuración dinámica de host el cual permite a los clientes de una IP obtener sus parámetros de configuración automáticamente, se basa en un modelo cliente servidor, este posee una lista de direcciones IP las cuales las cuales van asignando a los clientes conforme estas se vayan liberando

Glosario

DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol

Direccion IP:es un número que identifica, de manera lógica y jerárquica, a una Interfaz en red.

Cmd: El símbolo del sistema es el intérprete de comandos en OS/2 y sistemas basados en Windows NT

IPconfig: Informacion y configuración de la dirección IP

Ahora vamos a proceder con la instalación y configuración del servidor DHCP

Vamos al cliente y damos clic en centro de redes y recursos compartidos

Ahora seleccionamos la primera conexión y daremos clic en propiedades

Seleccionamos IPv4y daremos en propiedades y lo que haremos será cambiar de una IP estática a una IP dinámica y así comprobar que el servidor DHCP funcione correctamente pues este asignara la IP dinámicamente

Ahora pasamos al servidor daremos clic en inicio y despues en server manager daremos clic en Roles

daremos clic donde dice agregar funciones , despues deremos en next y nos debe aparecer una lista de los servicios que otorga el servidor y seleccionaremos el DHCP Server y daremos clic en siguiente y despues nuevamente en siguiente

Acontinuacion nos aparece la IP del servidor que quiere decir que se esta instalando correctamente al no tener ningun dominio borraremos el IP y daremos clic en siguiente y  nos debera aparecer la siguiente ventana para agregar un rango de IPS

Despues de agregar las IP  nos aparecera el nombre del ambito y el ramgo de IP que pusimos y daremos en siguiente

Aquí vamos a deshabilitar la IPv6 debido a que nosotros estamos usando una IPv4 y daremos en siguiente

Despues nos aparecera la informacion acerca de los pasos que acabamos de realizar y daremos clic en install

Una vez que nos muestre que la instalacion esta completa cerraremos e iremos al inicio y en herramientas administrativas y en DHCP y aquí debe de aparecer nuestro servidor y daremos clic en servisor y nos apareceran las dos IP  

E iremos a la IPv4 la cual es con la que estamos trabajando y veremos los rangos de las IP

Finalmente pasaremos a comprobarlo en cmd

Despues daremos IPconfig y aquí nos aparecera lo que es la IP del servidor, despues iremos al cliente

Y de igual manera vamos a comprobar y como podemos ver nos aparec la IP con terminacion .2 para una red dinamica y esto quiere decir que el DHCP esta funcionando correctamente asignando una IP y si otra persona se quisiera conectar le asignaria una IP .3 y asi sucecsivamente

Y aquí termina la instalacion de un DHCP .

Process

We go to the client and click on the center of networks and shared resources

Now we select the first connection and we will click on properties


Select IPv4 and we will give in properties and what we will do is change from a static IP to a dynamic IP and thus verify that the DHCP server works correctly as it will dynamically assign the IP


Now we go to the server we will click on start and then on server manager we will click on Roles


we will click where it says add functions, then click on next and a list of the services provided by the server must appear and we will select the DHCP Server and click on next and then again on next

Next, the IP of the server appears, which means that it is being installed correctly, as it does not have any domain, we will delete the IP and click on the following button and the following window should appear to add an IPS range


After adding the IP we will see the name of the scope and the branch of IP that we put and we will give in following


Here we are going to disable IPv6 because we are using an IPv4 and we will give in next


Then we will see the information about the steps we have just done and we will click on install




Once it shows us that the installation is complete we will close and go to the beginning and in administrative tools and in DHCP and here our server should appear and we will click on a server and the two IPs will appear

And we will go to IPv4 which is what we are working with and we will see the IP ranges


Finally we will check it in cmd

Then we will give IPconfig and here will appear what is the IP of the server, then we will go to the client



And in the same way we are going to check and as we can see, the IP with termination .2 for a dynamic network appeared and this means that the DHCP is working correctly assigning an IP and if another person would like to connect, it would assign an IP .3 and so on

And here the installation of a DHCP ends.
